Common signs of heartworm infection can include fatigue, chronic coughing, vomiting, weight loss and damage to the heart, lungs and liver as well as obstruction of blood flow result from this infestation can caused sudden death. However, with proper monitoring, blood work and heartworm preventive medications, you can avoid this problem and keep your friend safe and in good health.
